| 背景信息 | Transforming acidic coiled-coil-containing protein 2 (TACC2) is a centrosomal protein essential for mitotic spindle organization. It facilitates the coupling of the centrosome to the nucleus and stabilizes microtubules during cell division. TACC2 expression is hormonally responsive, notably to erythropoietin and androgens. In cancer, TACC2 plays a context-dependent role; it is associated with breast and prostate malignancies where it can function as a tumor suppressor or progression marker. Its dysregulation affects cell cycle fidelity and has been linked to specific subtypes like mucinous stomach adenocarcinoma. |
