| 背景信息 | GTPase, very large interferon inducible pseudogene 1 (GVINP1), also functionally identified as GVIN1, encodes a very large, interferon-inducible dynamin-like GTPase. Although historically annotated as a pseudogene, the transcript encodes a cytosolic protein of approximately 209 kDa belonging to the interferon-inducible large GTPase superfamily. Upon stimulation by interferon-gamma, GVIN1 assembles into "coatomer" structures on the surface of cytosolic Gram-negative bacteria, such as Burkholderia thailandensis. In cooperation with other interferon-stimulated genes, it blocks bacterial actin-based motility by displacing actin nucleators, thereby defining an autonomous, cell-intrinsic antimicrobial defense pathway. |
