| 背景信息 | DAZ interacting zinc finger protein 3 (DZIP3) is an RNA-binding RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligase that plays a significant role in protein homeostasis and gene regulation. It facilitates the polyubiquitination of target proteins by accepting ubiquitin from E2 enzymes, leading to their subsequent proteasomal degradation. Uniquely, DZIP3 also possesses the ability to bind RNA directly, suggesting a dual role in post-translational modification and post-transcriptional control. Primarily localized in the cytoplasm, it participates in innate immunity and MHC class I antigen processing pathways.
