| 背景信息 | BCL2 like 2 (BCL2L2) is an anti-apoptotic member of the BCL-2 family that promotes cell survival by sequestering pro-apoptotic BH3-only proteins, thereby preventing mitochondrial outer membrane permeabilization and subsequent caspase activation. It is prominently expressed in the nervous system and testis, where it supports the survival of neurotrophin-dependent neurons and postmitotic Sertoli cells. BCL2L2 interacts with survival pathways such as NF-kappaB and TNFR1 signaling to block BAX-mediated apoptosis. Clinically, dysregulation of BCL2L2 is associated with cancer cell survival and therapeutic resistance. It is also linked to glioma susceptibility and oculopharyngeal muscular dystrophy, making it a significant target for the development of pro-apoptotic cancer therapies. |
